what type of rider you are,

If you ride like skateparks doing jumps and things,

no,

a good bike for that would be a kink(if you a novice rider becoming better)

Yes, I bought one for my 12-year-old son. It doesn't have the lightest, "best" components--such as it has a steel chainwheel instead of aluminum one--but it has taken all the abuse my son has given it and nothing has yet broken.

In my opinion...no.Redline bikes are very nice bikes for the $.they have been around for over 40 years! DK bike co is farely new to the Bmx world.I would choose a Redline over DK in a heartbeat! I own 3!
