A bike typically weighs around 20 to 30 pounds. It is unlikely for a bike to weigh 30 ounces as that would be very light.
For a mountain bike, a light weight would typically be around 25-30 pounds for a cross country or trail bike, while a heavy weight would be anything over 35 pounds, often found in downhill or freeride bikes. However, the exact weight considered light or heavy may vary depending on the specific bike's intended use and components.
Mine is about 15 pounds
A good brakeless BMX bike will weigh anywhere from 19-23 pounds. One with brakes will generally weigh 24-30 lbs. Hope this helps!

A Giant Method 2 bike typically weighs around 30-35 pounds, but it can vary slightly depending on the size and specific components of the bike.
One would use a motorcycle lift to raise the bike up to do routine maintenance and cleaning. As most lifts have a weight capacity of 600-1000 pounds, it makes light work of detailing and even storing the bike.
