Both of those times are really good. If you ran for AAU you would probably be going to the national junior Olympics. I ran when I was 12 and finished with a 2:37 at nationals and finished 47 in the nation, so your time is definitely good.

It's alright. I'm sure If you worked on your speed and endurance you could greatly improve it. I run a 2:02 800 and I'm 15 and the 800 isn't even my even (the 3000 and 5000 are). So a good 15 year old could run maybe a 1:55. I'm sure you could get yours down to a 2:05-2:00 though.

yes, for being 15 years old (presumably a freshman) 2:08 is a very respectable time. it's not inconceivable to say that running a 2:08 freshman year could lead you to a 1:56 as a senior.
