I can only answer like this. I don't know about the time. I do know however, that when I was young I concentrated more on what other people were achieving, instead of what I was managing to do myself. I think the very fact that you are timing yourself and trying to get faster is great.

I made the mistake of thinking 'If I am not the best at something I might as well give up' which of course is not the way to go. Continue with your running and whatever you do, trying to get better for your own personal achievement, and worry less about what the 'Bolts' of the world :)

I am now in my forties and have started running again and I love it. I am never going to be a record holder but I wished I had accepted that at your age and continued anyway :)
