Fill the engine with approximately 1 1/2 quarts (1.4l) of a high quality oil that meets or exceeds API SF, SG, CC standards and check the oil level with a dipstick. DO NOT OVERFILL.
...Most fleet Golf carts require 10w-30 oil.

I have a 1996 Golf GLIII with a 5-speed and I average about 35 mpg in the summer and 31 mpg in the winter (Minneapolis, Minnesota).
depends on how you drive it; I have gotten as little as 12 mpg and as much as 20 mpg.
