There are only a few gymnasts who receive money from their participation in the sport. The most common way in which a gymnast gets money is through sponsorship, which means they training and related expenses are paid for by a company (the sponsor). Only the very best gymnasts in the US are able to receive these types of arrangements. Most gymnasts, are not paid and, in fact, have to pay in order to participate in the sport. There are gymnasts who have been successful enough at the Olympics and World Championships that they have been able to make a great deal of money by making commercials or becoming a spokesperson for specific products and companies. Again, the vast majority of gymnasts do not receive paychecks or product endorsement or corporate sponsorships.

gymnastic is a good sport or career for you really for the poeple out there.
With very, very rare exceptions, gymnasts do not get paid to compete. It's an amateur sport, and (again, with few exceptions), there's really no such thing as being a "professional" gymnast (unlike football, soccer, and Basketball). The exceptions that I am thinking of involve a few international competitions where the winners receive a small check; however, this is, by far, a small minority of gymnastics competitions worldwide.
The amount of money that gymnasts make varies greatly depending on several factors, such as their level of competition, achievements, and endorsement deals.
At the amateur level, gymnasts typically do not earn a salary. However, top gymnasts who compete in international competitions such as the Olympics can earn significant prize money, with medals being worth thousands of dollars.
Professional gymnasts who perform in circuses or shows can earn a steady salary, although the amount can vary greatly depending on the show and their level of experience.
Gymnasts who have achieved great success and have a large following can also earn money through endorsement deals, sponsorships, and merchandise sales. For example, Simone Biles, who is considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, has endorsement deals with companies such as Nike and Beats by Dre.
