I only have an idea for England, but it would probably be roughly similar if you are from America (Just do your conversions).

To start with you would most probably be working for the NHS, earning roughly £20-25k per year.

After you are a chartered psychoanalyst or counsellor you would probably want to 'go private', where you would be earning anywhere from £30-50 an hour. The amount you earn here depends on how often you are referred to and how grand the status of your company is. You could be working 40-50 hours a week but then you could only be working 10 or so.
