The easiest way to find out more about tennis lessons in your area would be to check the local sports forums and websites. They will be able to recommend instructors offering tennis lessons at a reasonable price.
It of course depends on where you are but it seems to range from 450-900 a week during the summer for regular instructors. Actual college coaches who instruct additionally in the summer and head instructors of programs with any level of relative prestige make around 850-1900 a week depending on resume and yacht club. Instructors at institutes or general non-yacht-clubs make less
ski instructors, whitewater rafting instructors, park rangers, fishermen, lumberjacks
Probably not much math education. But you should probably make sure you're good at tennis.
That depends on what type of "instructor position" it is and what educational facility they are employed in. Veterinary technician instructors may be adjunct instructors who fill part time roles teaching specific topics/courses, full time instructors or even program directors for veterinary technology or veterinary assisting programs.
Depends on experience but usually anywhere from $17-$20 an hour for beginner and intermediate instructors. Some schools will go up to $25 if you have many years of experience.
That depends on where you work, and what type of instructor you are. Assistant Instructors earn less that Dinghy Instructors, Senior Instructors earn more. You probably mean a Dinghy Instructor (DI). I am paid £6.37 an hour, for being a DI on a reservoir, so not coastal, but rates vary from club to club. My advice would be to check your local club.
As with any other job, a tennis instructor's salary depends on many factors, such as his/her educational background, experience, locale, etc. Also, there are many variations of tennis instructors, such as a school physical education instructor, college coach, personal/private trainer, etc. As such, there is no way to give a specific number, but, according to "Simply Hired" (a job search website; refer to the link, below), the average tennis instructor pay is USD 23,000 (n.b., that site derives its salary values from job listings specifying such, which excludes all that did not give such a value and, for those that did, it may not be what the person obtaining the job actually received).
They can make anywhere from $10 to over $100,000,000,000,000
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median pay in 2010 for all of the fitness trainers and instructors (cycling class instructors included) in the United States was $31,090 per year (about $15 per hour). Half of all fitness trainers and instructors earned less than that, and half earned more. It all depends on where you live and the demand for your job!
