Grand Slam ATP points are earned by tennis players based on their performance in major tournaments such as the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. Points are awarded for each round a player advances in the tournament, with more points given for later rounds. The player with the most points at the end of the tournament is the winner.
Tennis played with two players on each side is called doubles tennis.
All must be in the same category.

In WTA tournaments, points vary according to the tournament's tier, with higher-tier events like Premier Mandatory offering more points than lower-tier events. The four major professional tennis tournaments consist of the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. These four major tournaments are considered the "Grand Slam" tournaments. The Australian Open is the first of the four to be played each year, with the event occurring in the second half of January. The French Open is the second Grand Slam to be played, and it occurs around late-May to early June. Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the year, takes place shortly after the French Open. It occurs from late June to early July. The US Open is the fourth and final Grand Slam to take place each year. The only Grand Slam played on US soil, it takes place from late August to the first half of September.
That is not necessarily true. Serena has played her sister Venus 12 times in Grand Slam singles tournaments and 11 times in other tournaments (including 11 finals). She has a three match lead in the head-to-head series, 13-10 (including the last 4 in a row). They are the only women during the open era to have played each other in four consecutive Grand Slam singles finals. Currently Venus has 43 career tennis titles, while Serena has 37.
