Phil won his first major in 2004 at the Masters. He went into the final round tied for first and went on to win by 1 stroke over Ernie Ells. He won his second major in 2005 at the PGA. He again went into the final round tied for the lead and went on to win by 1 stroke over Thomas Bjorn and Steve Elkington. He won his third major in 2006 at the Masters, beating Tim Clark by 2 strokes. He won his fourth major in 2010 at the Masters. He won his fifth major in 2013 at the British Open.
