If counted, the number of daily bicycle riders would easily reach into the millions. Many of them would be outside the U.S. because a number of countries have urban areas where the primary mode of transportation is the bicycle. Hard data is difficult to come by even in the U.S., so gathering it in other countries is probably at least as difficult.

wrong, there are actually 375,352,425 people that ride to work each week:)
Less than one half of one percent. Exception exist but that is considered the best figure on a national average. Ralph Nader and a few people around Boulder Colorado, parts of Oregon and Washington may also fit that profile. There is at least one 80 year old reported around Boulder with a claim to have never been in an automobile, train, plane, derigible or balloon and still commutes to work daily on a 1950 Scwinn but that may be an Urban Legend.

I am guessing that there are alot but im sure that you could find some time to count them all if you are aking such a stupid question like this. But to count them you will need to have a lot of free time on your hands. How about you dont ask such stupid questions and concentrate on cycling not how many people cycle.
