The following winners were Sylvia Lance Harper (1924), Daphne Akhurst Cozens (1925, 1926, 1928, 1929, 1930), Esna Boyd (1927), Coral Buttsworth (1931, 1932), Joan Hartigan (1933, 1934, 1936), Nancye Wynne Bolton (1937, 1940, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1951), Emily Hood Westacott 1930, 1933, 1934), Thelma Coyne Long (1952, 1954), Beryl Penrose (1956), Mary Carter Reitano (1961), Margaret Court (1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973), Evonne Goolagong Cawley ((1974, 1975, 1976, 1977 Dec.), and Kerry Reid (1968, 1977). The last Australian to win was Chris O'Neil in 1978.
