The lightest bike for adults is probably a redline or a hyper but hypers are kind of expensive

Alienation Black Sheep Double Wall Rims, front and back
Redline Pit Boss, 14.5 lbs - Available from any Redline dealer or http://www.jrbicycles.com/storefront/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=2947. The price should be about $325 from you local bike shop or online.
Most hyper bmx bikes are heavy so most likely not unless your not jumping high
There's no telling. The BMX is probably smaller, so it should be lighter. OTOH they're often amazingly chunkily built and can be surprisingly heavy.
