well iv been running track for a long time and the fastest sophomore that i have seen run the 400 meter dash is in 49.3 and my personal best a sophomore was a 52.6. Out of all of the people i have seen run it is either from 48.3 to 56.8 in a track meet.So if you run anywhere between the two you should be fine.
