Boy=Around 2 1/2 minutes
Girl=Under 3 minutes
ok... i am just adding to this answer, because i couldn't figure out how to answer it my self.
i am a 14 year old girl and for an 800m I do 2:19, so if you are a 13 year old boy you should go faster than that!!
(oh btw i think the person who answered before me is completely WRONG)
about 60 seconds.
I'm not sure what's an average time but a 51 second 400m is very good for a 16 year old. (Top in Ontario for sure).
A good time for 400 meter is not more than 60 seconds. When I was 13 i ran 58's and 57's and when i was 14 i ran 54-56 and once a 52 (depends on who and how fast the person i was running against). 56's should get you 3rd or better. Usually to garuntee a win, you'll need to run a 53 or 52, but it depends on who you are running against(no one cares what you got.. i got 9 seconds on 400m so ....)
15 mph sprinting full speed is average for a 10 year old. Also, a 10 year old to run a mile in 9 min and 45 sec running as fast as they can.
well it depense on if the 6 year old can run fast or not
400m a year
fast.
depends if you like running or not if your 5 you should go out 1 a week for a really steady jog if your 7 maybe 2 but run slowly if your 9 about 5 if your 20 and above about 6 to 7 but fast running
Charles Harris 1minute 1second
you are slow, I ran a 5:03 mile last year when I was ELEVEN. When you are 14 for you, you should run around a 15 minute mile. :) happy running(:
57.2 secs is the Pacific School Games record for 13 year old girls 400m record. It was set in 1984 by Vanessa Fielding. Records can be found in the related link.
My second time running the 400m was 64 and I just turned 14 but my first time was 68 so you can improve quickly-just dont make the mistake of running the first 100 too fast-u will have ZERO energy left to finish!! what is your time? 56.09.......Pacific School Games record by Rebecca Luke : http://www.schoolsport.edu.au/lib/pdf/sportsinfo/mf1075.pdf
