Well it all depends on what perspective you are writing this letter from. Are you a teacher, coach, employer, or alumni? It would help to include facts about the student athlete that would increase his/her chances of receiving the scholarship. Maybe you should include examples on how the student has gone above and beyond expectations. All examples should include athletics and academics for competitive balance.
