There are two types of splits: one leg in front and the other in back, and each leg out to the side of the body. The fastest one to master is one leg to the front and the other to the back. Take a mat or some pillows put them together them ask a person to move the pillows farther farther and farther than hold it for a minute. Then do split walk on good and bad legs all the way down the carpet or grass
