you have to have the most amount of points to get points you have to get as far as you can in a tournament the number of points you get depends on how far into the tournament you get for example if you got to the final of a tournament you might get 1000 points whereas if you get to the second round of a tournament you might get 167 points

All professional tennis events use the same basic draw sheet, which places the #1 seed at the very top, and the #2 seed at the very bottom, in order to give the two a chance to meet in the finals.
