As the answer would take too long for this website, it is best to refer to the WilsonRacquet.net* link, below, which gives advice on how to become a professional tennis player. * (n.b., WilsonRacquet.net is not affiliated with the Wilson Sporting Goods company)

Practice makes perfect! (Use a wall or a friend for practice)

Hovever, here are a few tips that work wonders:

  1. Always make sure you can see your racket
  2. FOLLOW THROUGH with your swings to around your other shoulder (low-high)
  3. Move your feet around CONSTANTLY
  4. Controll where you are swinging and know where you want the ball to go
  5. When serving, toss the ball HIGH and hit it on an angle DOWNWARD into the other court
  6. Power is not always the answer at first if you want to be accurate (which you DO)
  7. Concentrate
  8. And most importantly, HAVE FUN, WORK HARD, but when you're not Venus Williams at first, don't be too hard on yourself. You have to like the game in order to be the best at it, but you won't be amazing right away.

And if you only do one thing off this list, PRACTICE!

Hope this helps

By learning how to play tennis and then see if you're any good at it!

Start playing as young as posbL, like age 4, have the good fortune of a privledged upbringing to train and play constantly, no expen$e is spared in your training and traveling in pursuit of excellence, amongst all the lucky youngsters who are provided this luxurious opportunity, add natural born talent to these necessary prior ingredients, then add hard work and desire amongst those select few, then maybe, you might have a chance to be world class status, oh, I'm sorry, u meant a 'good' tennis player, just play a few times per week for at least 5 straight years, you can prob become a GOOD player

You try out for the team and practice really hard. At most colleges you can contact the coach via the school office if you would like.
