To receive a nomination a student must meet these requirements; complete the first six modules of the online course, be a freshman or sophomore, have no exams during Wimbledon, be physically fit, have a good knowledge of tennis and be available for all the tourney times.=Step 2==Pass a test on the court and scoring rules at Wimbledon. This is after a person receives notification from his school of the ball boy nomination.==Step 3==Be able to correctly follow instructions and relate those instructions to the tennis court. You must also pass a hand-eye coordination test and demonstrate the physical abilities required of a ball boy at Wimbledon.==Step 4==Attend the full Wimbledon training course to verify that you can indeed complete all of the tasks necessary to become a ball boy at Wimbledon. The training begins in February and lasts until mid-June. The training isn't continuous and generally works around each participant's school schedule.
