You would need to ask the specific school you want to know about. "Tracks" are essentially a way to increase the capacity of a school by 50% without investing in new infrastructure (in a track system 1/3 of the students are on break at any given time, so they only need enough rooms to hold 2/3 of the students at once), so a private school MIGHT choose to do this.
---- yes u do
sorry it's pravite.
highschool track is the same size as middle
Its the same as any track and field but you are competing with only middle school students.
I usually wear track pants (I'm in High School) and no one stops me. A lot of kids wear track pants and other sportswear.
It depends on the track size. Middle school tracks are commonly half the size of "normal" high school tracks. 800m is either 4 laps on a middle school size track or 2 laps on a high school size track. 1600m is either 8 or 4.
Yes. My high school's track and field team is written correctly.
yes
I THINK in school they hand out a flier when its "Track season" telling when you can join and where.
On a typical track, which is a training, high school, and a college track there are 8 lanes. However, on an olympic or professional track there are 9 lanes.
Outdoor tracks are almost always 400 meters long for one lap. There is no standard for a high school track vs. a middle school one. Tracks tend to be the same length so that the same events can be easily run on them.
The official track is 1/4 mile. School sizes may vary.
