No, you don't. Just win the majority of the total sets agreed to be played.

∙ 14y agoYes ... you could win the match without playing any ball but your own serves ... provided, you won your service games and your opponent double-faulted his way at least four times in twoseparate games during the match - at least once in each of the 2 sets (assuming the match was a best of 3 sets match)
henin won easily in 3 sets and went on to win the french open against ivanovixh

It is a win coming off a previous win from the game/match before.
A set is a part of a match, it is won by being the first player to 6 games, but you must win by 2, so it could be 7-5. However, if it gets to 6-6 then you go into a tie-break. You win a match by winning 3 sets, if you are a male, or 2 sets, if you are a female.

You must win 4 games to win the set so that the final game score would be: 5-7 you must win by a minimum of 2 games and in this case u must break your opponents service play at least twice But if they were to win a game and make it 6-6 before you could win that final game then you would have to go into a tiebreaker where to win you must get 7 points AND also be winning by 2 points at the same time hope this helped =]

Yes, that is possible.
Best of five for mens and three sets for women. In the third and fifth sets a player has to win by two games to win the match that's why a match at Wimbledon went to 64-62.
They play 3 out 5 sets so a player can win by winning 3 sets in a row. However if each player gets 2 sets each by plaing a 4th set they play the 5th set until one player is 2 games ahead so it can go on for a long time!
