Male gymnasts that do floor exercises wear footless flesh or nude tights. If you watch then Men's gymnastics on USA network when you watch floor gnostics you could see a color variation at the ankle and sometimes under the foot. Also there legs are too smooth with shorts and color is so beige. Also, you don't see any hair, skin wrinkles when bending legs (behind knees). They wear nude or beige footless or stirrup tights. I am sure of it. I watched gymnastics for years and noticed this to be true.
About 10 years ago when I was a member of a gymnastics club lots of girls wore thong knickers under their leotards. Ordinary knickers weren't allowed to be worn under leotards at competitions as they'd often show beneath the leotard legs at the back. Girls' thongs were available for ages 9-14 from Tammy stores.
In my opinion and the opinions of most of my gymnast buddies, not really. They can be itchy based on the material and they suck when you have to go the bathroom because there one piece. Its uncomfortable under your armpits and crotch and they usually come small and tight. If you don't wear shorts with them then your under ware tends to show and you have to get the perfect bra so it won't show. Sometimes, based on the tumbling your doing, the material will flab and make tons of crease marks which look weird. Depending on the leotard: long sleeve, short sleeve, netting, no netting, openings, no openings, they can be hot and stuffy or cold and breezy. They could show to much or to little, or they could be just right. It all kind of depends on the leotard.
men dont wear leotards....? but they do wear tights. they have to wear a jockey strap underneath; its kinda like what they would have to wear for football or baseball. Of course men wear leotards! Male gymnasts and dancers do so all the time. Plenty of men wear leotards for exercise because they fit comfortably without riding up or down. As a base layer under clothing they add greatly to warmth on cold days.
Gymnasts wear leotards in gymnastics for a few different reasons. One is that they are very aerodynamic and comfortable to move in plus you don't have to worry about your shirt flying up when you are flipping through the air. Also, like any other sports gymnasts get sweaty and hot leotards and they only cover part of the body so girls can stay cool as they work out. Leotards often have intricate desings to show team unity like any other uniform and can show individuality. While on the bars if they are wearing a loose shirt it can get wrapped around the bar. Also a close fitting leotard allows the coaches and judges to see who the athleat is moving which is the basis for scoring in gymnastics. ... Coaches prefer a gymnast to wear a leotard while training, mainly because it keeps them from getting tangled in a gymnasts clothing while spotting.
At my club when we train we mostly wear sleveless leotards and shorts or with a t-shirt over this. When competiting we wear leotards like gymnasts, we basically wear the same things as gymnasts.
It depends on the woman. Its a matter of comfort and taste. Its just like asking "Do men like wearing ties?"
In gymnastics the girls wear leotards. you can also wear biketards which are leotards with shorts connected or a tight cami with bikers. the coaches would purfer the girls to wear leotards because on bars in you are doing flyaways and you peel they will grab your shirt it will come off. i know this from seeing it happen that is why i wear leotards. the guys normally wear a T-shirts and basketball shorts to practice.I coach the boys squad at our local gym and my boys all wear blue nylon lycra leotards. The mini squad (under 6) wear nylon lycra cycle shorts over the top and the older boys wear nylon lycra gym shorts (these are like soccer shorts but alot shorter)Put your hair up, wear short shorts and a tank top.
leotards like everybody else
nylon and spandex it feels just like wearing a one piece bathing suit.
I think that is completely and absolutely up to the individual considering to wear it. Historically the leotard was designed and made by a guy but like many times (by the majority) men proves themselves cowards and sissies when it comes to the clothes they associate themselves wit. Theyβve back doored wearing high heels, stockings, tights, hosery, skirts, tunics, robes LEOTARDS, in recent decades shorts (short shorts), short tank top/ belly shirts.
i like it
Because some woman love nylons. I do.
Women will wear a sheer blouse because it fit's the outfit the woman is wearing. A time they choose to wear one would be because they feel like wearing it at that moment in time.
All of the gymnasts are good friends.
