Of course, if you want to play Table Tennis at home, you could use any space that will accommodate a table tennis table (9 feet long and 5 feet wide - 2.74m x 1.525m).
However, any area smaller than the recommended size of 8.5m x 4.12m will mean that you'll be restricted in either the type of strokes you can use and/or your style of play.

It would take too long to list all the dimensions of a tennis court. Enter the phrase "tennis court measurements" into your favorite search engine for detailed information (n.b., if you use "Google", select "Images" at the top of that page). Or, visit the USTA link, below, for the Rules and Regulations of tennis, which include court measurements.
they are pretty much the same rules but table tennis is played on a table and tennis is played on an outdoor court
there is acertain table or the court to play it at
why bring me here from the search engine if there is no answer. you suck!

According to the ITTF rules, there is no limit for the size of the table tennis racket.
The size of a ping pong table is about 2 meters by 3 meters
9 feet long and 5 feet wide for an ITTF regulation sized ping pong table.
A table tennis table is 9 feet (2.74m) long, 5 feet (1.525m) wide and 2 feet 6 inches (76cm) high and the net is 6 feet (1.83m) long and 6 inches (15.25 cm) high.
A tennis court varies in width depending on whether it is used for a doubles or a singles match. The width for singles matches is 27 feet (8.23m). For doubles matches it is 36 feet (10.98m).
