a free cartweel in gymnastics is when you take a step and do a cartwheel wihtout puting your hands on the floor or beam. :):):):):)
In gymnastics, "sticking the landing" is when a gymnast lands a vault, dismount, or tumbling pass without moving his or her feet. Any step or hop is a deduction, except in women's floor exercise. In that event, women can take a single step back into a lunge without getting a deduction. Stuck landings are very difficult, even for professional gymnasts; therefore, they are very exciting to see.

Linear feet is the total length of the staircase. Add the height and depth of the step (not width of the stairwell) with the depth of the overhang of the step. Take that number times by the number of stairs. Linear Feet = (Height of Stair + Depth of Stair + Depth of Lip) x Number of Stairs Don't forget to add an extra bit for the landing if you have one.
Hop, step then jump. The hop involves landing on the same foot that was used for take-off, the step lands on the opposite foot and the jump finishes in the sandpit (normally a two-footed landing).
