Can anyone run 7 seconds in a 100 yard dash?

100 yard dash is 91 meters.

If someone were to run a 7 second 91 meter dash, then in the 100 meters they would be able to run 7.7 seconds.

So no, that's impossible because the current world record is 9.58 and that's far off. There is a limit to how fast people can run and the limit is set at 9.0 - 9.1 seconds but that's not for another 100, 200, 300 years possibly.

It is highly possible but has not been done yet. IUsain Bolt (a guy) ran it in 9.72 seconds though!
