You might want to look up the record. I think it is somewhere around 13 Minutes or probably less. This of course is on the track. I am a cross country runner and the times differ there with a record probably being 13:30 or 14. I am training to run a 15 minute 3 mile right now and 15 minutes is very good. Average runners normally run around 19 and 20.
No. By today's standards, this is impossible. Consider distances and speeds: A Half marathon is 13.1 miles. To complete this course in 30 minutes (i.e. one half hour) a person would need to run an average speed of 26.2 miles per hour. Olympic sprinters have had speeds in this ball park recorded (instantaneous velocity), however they only sustain that speed for seconds at most. Sustaining that speed for a hour straight would take a next generation of human that we have not yet seen.
Unless you're talking about some sort of assitance device like those spring boot sort of things I saw on the discovery channel, 'legitimate' old fashioned running a half marathon cannot be accomplished in 30 minutes.
(World record is 58 minutes and change I believe, set by a Kenyan)
6.2 miles
6.4 miles
1st place is around 15 minutes any fit person could get under 30 minutes
2.25 miles
5.68 miles per hour.
It depends how fast you run. Between 10 and 30 minutes, probably.
10 minutes !
2 i dont know
10 miles per hour.
She could run 80 miles in four hours at that pace.
5k = 3.107 miles. Your speed would have to be 6.214 MPH or better.
When I run 10 miles in 10 minutes, I use extrapolation to see how long it takes to run 30 miles. =_=
