Cfbc stands for circulating fludised bed combustion where as afbc is for atmospheric fluidise bed combustion afbc bed fluidising velocity is approx 4 m/s and in cfbc boiler fluidising velocity is 9-10 m/s. cfbc having low SOx & NOx comparative with afbc cfbc having higher efficiency up to 98.5 % then afbc boiler, cfbc boiler power consumption is more comparative to afbc.

how we calculate the coal consumed to generate xxx MW say 12 hrs or 24 hrs in CFBC boiler please help

The boiler in which fluidisation and combustion is done in the bed with the help of (pa,sa&ta)air and ash(un burnt particle) is re-used through cyclone and siphone to the bed is called cfbc boiler.
CFBC was created on 1946-11-21.
(fbc) boiler to heat the Water that is mixed with a refractory material. With warming water temperatures will produce refractory materials that will ignite the oil in the water. The granular refractory materials are mixed with water. Refractory materials are heated in water to take it. c) boiler column. The steam comes out vertically. A) horizontal boiler. The steam comes out horizontally.
loop seal is provided to stop the material from furnace to return leg back.It works with the help of diffrential pressure. There is the difference in the pressure of air beteen furnace and return leg.
In CFBC, a hot cyclone is designed to separate the solids and trap them in a high-temperature cyclone to improve efficiency and reduce emissions. On the other hand, a cold cyclone operates at lower temperatures and helps in capturing finer particles and reducing wear on downstream equipment. Both types of cyclones play a crucial role in controlling emissions and improving the efficiency of a CFBC system.
the pressure of the root blower is higher then the wind box pressure, because what ever the unburnt particle come from cyclone separator is collect in return leg this unburnt particle return back into combustion chamber so the function of root blower is to continuous circulation.
