They are not as good as they used to be. A lot of tour pros used to play them, but none now. They are a good set for beginners.
Additional info from Dave: Ram did make Pro clubs (esp. irons) back in the day. In the 1970's and thru the 90's were Golden Ram Matched series, Golden Ram axials, Golden Ram Tour Grind, FX Forged, Tom Watson wedges and others that are amazingly excellent. I know because I own many of these clubs and am a very low handicapper who is knowledgable in vintage Golf clubs (I know, get a life). Thanks. Dave Barnett - Redding California
