Yes these balls are fine to use. You should just check that they are not too discoloured, if they are heavily stained on one since do not use it as it has been ruined. Just hit a few putts with it and see if it is ok for use, if it rolls off to one side, one side has become too heavy and shouldn't be used. Many people sell lake balls on the internet because if they are taken out of the water soon enough they are perfectly good for play.
