The bad news is that Bill Bidwell has been one of the more frugal owners in the NFL. But there's certain things he won't sacrifice. Have you ever heard of a Cardinal player in any scrape with the law? Neither have I. He won't chance picking up a player of questionable character. At the very least, you know the team won't be an embarrassment off the field.
