The NHL is a "men's only" professional hockey league at this time.

**They can and have. Look up Manon Rheaume. It's not a Men's Only profession. Just haven't had a woman that is good enough and strong enough - YET. They can play, if they are good enough. It's difficult because it's dominated by men, but they do allow either gender, just have to prove themselves.
