The Minnesota Vikings are credited as having won the last NFL Championship. The last NFL Championship game was played in December of 1969 just prior to Super Bowl 4 where the Vikings lost to Kansas City.

What is now the Super Bowl was then called the Professional Football Championship.

The NFL-AFL Merger did not happen until the 1970 season and the championship game was not called the Super Bowl until 1972 (correction may be needed on the year). There fore the Vikings are credited as to havnig won the last NFL Championship as the former NFL was called the NFC and the former AFL was called the AFC after the merger of '70.
