Joe Gilliam, pronounced Gillum I believe, is the name you're looking for. He died a few years ago after battling addictions for many years. His arm speed was so fast that when the Steeler coaches tried to slow down the film projector, his arm was still a blur. And Terry Hanratty, of Notre Dame fame, was the other Bradshaw backup. On October 30th, 1977 Tony Dungy was the 'emergency' QB when Terry Bradshaw and Mike Kruszek were bothe injured.
