The last player to retire that once played for the Brooklyn Dodgers was Bob Aspromonte. He played one game for the Dodgers during his career, that being in 1956 at the age of 18 (the Dodgers signed him straight out of high school). His final game in MLB was September 28, 1971 for the New York Mets.

After Aspromonte is John Roseboro who played 35 games for the Dodgers in 1957. His final game in MLB was August 11, 1970 for the Washington Senators.

Then come Don Drysdale whose final game was August 5, 1969 for the Dodgers and John Podres whose final game was June 21, 1969 for the San Diego Padres.
