This is rather a subjective question. Some would say Duane O'Donald or Bob Skoubal would rank high, with Dick Poudril and Craig Helmick mixed in from a team which ended 9-0 before there were playoffs. Then again, the whole team which just missed a state championship by a yard on a two point conversion can not be forgotten either.

I would suggest that Craig Clark is the greatest football player from CJ.

Craig Clark was the only division One player to come out of Columbus Junction as far as I know. This guy was big, fast and had a great football knowledge. The others were all great players and Helmick is probably still the fastest. I vote Clark hands down.
