Jimmy Collins.

Collins was player/manager of the Red Sox between 1901-1906 and had a career record of 455-376 with the team. He won the World Series in 1903 and the American League pennant in 1904. He was fired as manager, with the team in last place, during the 1906 season but stayed with the Red Sox as a player until June, 1907 when he was traded to the Philadelphia Athletics.

Jimmy Collins was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1945.
