The UNLV team are a NNCA Division 1 basketball team located in Las Vegas in the state of Nevada. They're also commonly known as the "Runnin' Rebels."
The UNLV Men's Basketball team won the national title in the 1989-90 season. They finished the season with a 35-5 record, including a 16-2 conference record.

I think you mean 1990-1991 unlv, the year they lost to duke and 1992-1993 Michigan which was the fab five's sophomore year, anyway to answer your question the UNLV team was the greatest team in college basketball since the UCLA Dynasty..
