In the 1900 Olympics, the Dutch rowing team replaced the coxswain of their coxed pair because they considered him to be too heavy. They replaced him with a young Parisian boy (about 7 to 9 years old) and went on to win the gold medal. However, it is not known which coxswain was given the medal.
