If I'm not mistaken ,wouldn't' that be Craig morton of the Denver Broncos? in the superbowl (Dallas Cowboys vs.denver broncos )1977 or 78?I think he was 42 yrs old?

Brett Farve NOT !!!!! George Blanda Oakland Raiders -- was shown as kicker but was also an alternate QB until he retired (check Oakland 1971 roster # of completions & attempts plus TD's - he was 43 then and played til '78)

That was George Blanda who, at age 43, replaced an injured Darryl Lamonica for the Oakland Raiders in the second quarter of the 1970 AFC Championship game and completed 17 passes in 32 attempts for 271 yards, 2 TDs, and 3 INTs. The Raiders wound up losing to the Baltimore Colts, 27-17.
