Michael Jordan. He received a $30 Million dollar/year contract from the Chicago Bulls plus he had endorsements from Nike, Gatorade, McDonalds, etc.

What about Tiger Wood and Mike Tyson?

Tyson made around 400 million $ in his whole career, what is said.

Tiger makes 100 only with endorsemants, plus 11 with Golf.

By the end of 2010 he should break the 1 billion line and be the

best paid athlete of all time so far.

Also David Beckham receives $20 million a year to push Pepsi and Adidas, and his Adidas cleats fetch $450 a pair. Also 250 million dollar contract with the L.A. Galaxy

(1 million $ a week for 5 years excluding the endorsements)

Let's not forget Michael Schumacher who drove for Ferrari in Formula1. In his 15 year career he made over $650M (according to Forbes) before retiring at the end of 2006.

Tom Brady. His contract is $78 million over 4 years
