I am still searching, but it looks like Jose Calderon's 07-08 season was the best on record (ever) for qualifying guards. It was 5.38.

And everyone laughed when I said (a) he should have been on the All Star team, and (b) that he's going to be as goos as (or better than) Stockon in the long run.

This guy is mui especiale.

Although turnovers did not become an official stat until more recently, Michael Redd is the career leader for turnovers.
