Full name is Nile Leland Legania, Born May 30, 1983.Son of Leslie Legania, Graduated with a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation with a Minor in Child Development. Played three seasons for Division II Delta State University, where he played cornerback and returned kicks. On his career Legania had 91 tackles, 29 pass breakups, and six interceptions. Was regarded as one of the top cover corners in the Gulf South Conference. 2004: 21 Tackles, 9 pass deflections, 4 ints, 10 starts 2005: 41 Tackles, 8 pass deflections, 2 ints, 1 touchdown, fumble recovery, 11 starts Punt returns: 12- 188 average:15.6 2006: 29 Tackles, 12 pass deflections, 12 starts Punt returns: 20-173 average: 8.7 2007: Transferred to Wayne State College (Nebraska) NSIC All-Conference return specialist , Nebraska NCAA Division 2 special team player of the week. Punt returns: 23-231 average: 9.2 Kick returns: 20-456 average: 22.8 High School: Was a four-year starter and four-year letter winner in football for Coach Don Wattingly. Earned All-State honors in football in each of his final three seasons, All-Metro honors as a senior, and was named MVP of Class 3A Louisiana State Football Game, selected for the Louisiana All-Star Team. Defensively racked up 73 career tackles, 25 pass breakups, and an EKMHS career record 21 interceptions. On the offensive side of the ball, hauled in 44 career receptions for 1,110 yards and eight touchdowns,20 rushes 361 yards and 2 touchdowns .Legania scored on a punt return, kick return, interception, catch and a rush on his career.
