David's father was a singer in big band The Heat Waves and so

impressive that Cab Calloway asked him to join him on tour. Citing influences from Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison,

Marty Robbins to The Rolling Stones and the Clash, David excels in many musical genres.

As a child, David was already entertaining audiences on

Screen Gems Little People hosted by Jack Barry, quiz show host of

Twenty One, as told in the movie Quiz Show. As a teenager David abandoned the spotlight, attended

high school and worked at various odd jobs.

No longer able to ignore his true calling for music,

David began taking voice lessons and writing his own songs.
