Tris Speaker

Only four players in MLB history have hit over 700 doubles; Ty Cobb (724), Stan Musial (725), Pete Rose (746) and Speaker (792). As well as the record for doubles, Speaker has the record in Outfield assists (449), is 5th in batting average (.345), 5th in hits (3,514), sixth in triples (222), and 11th in runs (1,882). Speaker got his achievements with the Boston Americans/Red Sox (1907-15), Cleveland Indians (1916-1926), Washington Senators (1927) and Philadelphia Athletics (1928)
