no idea peter worrell 33???? Not sure who has the most fighting majors in a single season but I imagine it was Dave "The Hammer" Schultz. He holds the NHL single season record with 472 PIM in the 1974-1975 season and was considered the toughest of the Broad Street Bullies. It could also be Krzysztof Oliwa The answer is Torrie Robertson with the 1985-1986 Hartford Whalers. He had 51 fighting majors that year.
I have to admit I don't have the name of the guy with the most fighting majors at hand . It was probably someone like Daniel Carcillo or some other tough guy. I am 100% positive it WAS NOT Sidney Crosby.
