Surprisingly, there have been only 45 times that a player has hit more than 20 home runs, and had more home runs than strikeout. Probably the best ratio was Tommy Holmes in 1945, when he hit 28 homers but struck out only 9 times. Looking at the list makes me GUESS that the best career for someone with at least 300 home runs would be Yogi Berra, who had 358 homers but struck out 414 times.
