in Greek mythology we have "the big three". they are the 3 brothers that are in theory the oldest Olympians: Zeus, Hades and Poseidon (since they are 3 equals Zeus was given the sky, Poseidon the sea and hades the underworld - the earth was created by Gaea for the humans). Demeter (goddess of the harvest was their sister). all of the other Olympians have their own stories for example Athena was born for Zeus's thoughts, Aphrodite was born from the sea foam and there are the twins Apollo and Artemis (who were given the sun and the moon respectively instead of Helios and his sister) just to name a few. originally there were 12 Olympians - 6 males and 6 females. however one day a man named Dionysus created wine and Zeus felt that this was such an important thing that he made him a god. (this began a war between the Olympians so Hestia the goddess of the hearth gave up her seat to allow for Dionysus. therefore although they have no official ages it is generally accepted that Dionysus is the youngest Olympian. if you have any more questions on Greek mythology PLEASE let me know because i find it really interesting! hope this was helpfull!!!
