Countless NBA players have played the entire 48 minutes of regular season as well as playoff games. When you allow for overtime minutes the most played in a single game was 69 minutes by Dale Ellis during a marathon matchup in Nov of 1989 between his Seattle Supersonics and the Milwaukee Bucks. Seattle lost the game 155-154 in the 5th overtime. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar played a total of 57,446 minutes throughout his entire NBA / ABA career (the most in either leagues history). In more recent times Jason Kidd has the most number of career minutes played for an active NBA player with 41,155 minutes played.
