Here is the information I got from two different sources: Reggie Jackson struck out 2597 times, hard to believe for a man who maintained a career .490 batting average and hit 563 home runs.
The .490 was Jackson's slugging percentage, not his batting average. His career batting average was .262. Bobby Bonds set the record for the most strikeouts in one season with 189, but of all time I think it is Reggie Jackson.
The all time leader in strikeouts in Major League Baseball is Nolan Ryan. He amassed 5,714 strikeouts in his career.
Here is the top 10 all time leaders in strikeouts.
1. Nolan Ryan - 5,714

Not going to get too deep. But the major skills that Martin Luther King Jr had is the freedom of speech, not scared by the governmentand organizing major events at the right time.
Lou Gehrig has the most runs batted in as a Yankee with 1,995.
Because White people didn't want competition from non-whites (Negros).More Accurately:The Negro League was established to create a venue for African-American athletes at a time when they were not permitted to play in the Major Leagues with their equally skilled white players. Segregation was the law of the land, and this included professional sports.
As far as MLB as we know it today it was Jackie Robinson with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. But in 1884, Moses Walker played 42 games with Toledo of the American Association, which was considered a major league at the time. And the Negro League, which was formed in 1920, was also considered a major league.Jackie Robinson.

I read this a LONG time ago so I am not completly sure, you might want to do some reasearch. Satchel Paige was not allowed to play in the Major Leagues because he was black.
Well, in the Major Leagues in 1981 there were 26 teams, 12 in the National League and 14 in the American League. Each team had 25 players. So that means there were 650 players in the Major Leagues at any one time.
He is ranked 159 on the all time strike out list
One upon a time, there were three baseball leagues.
At the professional level, it usually ends at around May, at a similar ending time as many other major European leagues.
Come on..what kind of question is this. Robinson played 10 seasons with the Brooklyn Dodgers, his entire Major League career. Playing time is not measured for individual players, only the time of the game.
Yes, it is scored as an official time at bat and a strikeout.
Please someone answer the question fast!!!! I searched all over the Internet and couldn't figure out the answer. :(I believe that the Negro Leagues was a league of baseball that was strictly focused on Afo-American men back at that time, because of racism and discrimination. White major league ball were just your average baseball teams. Again, I believe that this was around the same time as racism and discrimination and there was a STRICT NO NEGROES allowed policy.Segregation really kept them apart. That was main difference between Negro Leagues from the White Major League ball clubs.
